This 5 ingredient dish goes from pan to plate in just 8 minutes, with a speedy prep time that will have your guests begging for your culinary secrets!

Serves 4

  • 1 packet Cantonese Chow Mein Spice Paste
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 200 g (7 oz) dried egg noodles (to soften noodles, follow pack instructions)
  • 200 g (7 oz) sliced meat or seafood (prawns, squid/calamari or mussels)
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) a combination of shredded cabbage and carrot
  • Thinly sliced spring onions or red chilli strips as garnish


  1. Heat oil in a non-stick wok on medium heat.
  2. Add meat or seafood and vegetables; stir-fry 3 minutes.
  3. Add noodles and Spice Paste; stir-fry for 5 minutes or until cooked. Garnish.


Cooking tip: For a vegetarian dish, you may use 200 g (7 oz) vegetables of your choice to replace meat or seafood.
