Asian Home Gourmet Vietnamese chicken curry- 50g

( Ga Cari )  This Vietnamese curry, with a unique blend of onions, lemongrass, soya bean paste and spices has a delicate taste when cooked with chicken, carrot and sweet potato.  This mild and creamy curry is usually eaten with rice or French bread (baguette).

No Added MSG, Preservatives Or Artificial Colours. Gluten Free. 

Ingredients: Onion, lemongrass, fresh red chillies, garlic, ginger, soybean oil, miso paste (soybean, rice, salt), salt, sugar, coriander, herbs and spices, acid regulator (citric acid), colour (paprika oleoresin/E160c).

Vietnamese Chicken Curry (Serves 4): 
1 packet Vietnamese Chicken Curry Spice Paste 
2-3 tbsp vegetable oil 
250g 1/2 lb) chopped chicken pieces 
1 small sweet potato or pumpkin, cut into bite-sized pieces 
1 carrot or potato, cut into bite-sized pieces 
1 3/4 cups (385 ml) coconut milk or milk 
Mint leaves as garnish 

Cooking Instructions: 
1. Heat oil in non-stick saucepan on medium heat. Add spice paste, stir-fry for 1/2 minute or until fragrant 
2. Add chicken and stir-fry for 2 minutes 
3. Stir in coconut milk, carrot or potato and sweet potato or pumpkin, bring to boil. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 20 minutes or until cooked. Garnish and serve hot 

Cooking Tip: Beef or lamb may be used instead of chicken

Keep away from direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use immediately.
