Recipes to Tantalise Your Ramen Experience

Recipe #1: Garlic Butter Noodles

Ingredients: 

Instructions: 

  1. Cook noodles as per the packet instructions.
  2. Place the butter in a medium pan. Sauté the garlic for 30 seconds or until fragrant, but don't let it brown. Stir in the soy sauce and chilli flakes. Stir thoroughly and cook for 30 seconds on low heat. Add brown sugar and stir.
  3. Using tongs, thoroughly mix in the boiled noodles. When most water evaporates, add the starchy water remaining from the boiled noodles and simmer for another two to three minutes.
  4. Serve the ramen hot, topped with your favourite garnishes!

Recipe #2: Hot-Pot Style Ramen

Instructions:

  1. In a big pot, add water and a chicken cube to make an instant chicken broth.
  2. Add the ramen seasoning to the water and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Add your choice of protein and the add-ons from the list above. Cook for 2 minutes on medium heat. 
  4. Add your instant noodles, cover the pot, and let the noodles cook thoroughly. 
  5. Serve hot in a bowl.

Recipe #3: Stew Type Ramen

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Add the noodles to a skillet with water in it.
  2. Cover and cook for five minutes. Stir in the taste-maker and the buldak sauce that comes in the packet.
  3. Cook for five minutes, then add a tablespoon of chicken powder and stir.
  4. Add an egg and cover to let the egg cook thoroughly.
  5. Serve with cheese and green onions. 

Recipe #4: Corn Cheese Ramen

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Boil the noodles in a pot of boiling water. Add sausages of your choice. Give it five minutes to cook.
  2. Drain the noodles and mix in the buldak sauce and seasoning packet. 
  3. On the other hand, heat your skillet and all in the cheese, boiled corn, and mayonnaise.
  4. When you're done, add the corn-cheese mixture to your buldak ramen and enjoy!

Recipe #5: Gochujang-Tteokbokki Ramen

Ingredients:

  • Instant Noodles – 1 packet
  • Gochujang Paste – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic – 1 tsp 
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Chili Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp 
  • Tteokbokki (Rice cakes) – 1 packet
  • Garnishes

Instructions:

  1. Add water to the saucepan and bring it to a boil. Add the noodles and rice cakes and boil them until cooked. Set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  3. Mix in chilli oil, soy sauce, gochujang, and add the sautéed garlic in a bowl
  4. Add the sauce and seasoning packet and stir until well until combined. 
  5. Mix in the noodles and rice cakes with the gochujang sauce
  6. Once cooked, serve with your favourite garnish on top.

Recipe #6: Ramen Spring Rolls

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. According to the package directions, drain the noodles and add the seasoning packets, stir. 
  2. Fry the mushrooms in oil for about five minutes, careful not to brown them. 
  3. After dipping the rice paper into a bowl of warm water, set it on a plate.
  4. Spoon three tablespoons of the noodles into the centre of the rice paper. Add a small amount of mushrooms and cheese. 
  5. Fold the rice paper edges over the centre and wrap up your spring roll.
  6. Add oil to a big frying pan heated to medium-high heat.
  7. Fry the Spring rolls on both sides for 4-5 minutes. Drain the spring rolls on a kitchen towel after removing them. Serve the spring rolls hot. 

Recipe #7: Alfredo Ramen

Instructions:

  1. Boil noodles as per packet instructions and set them aside.
  2. Melt butter in a pan on low-medium heat. Add all-purpose flour and mix continuously for 3-4 minutes to form a paste. Add milk and spices and mix until the sauce thickens.
  3. Incorporate your buldak sauce and noodles, mix, and enjoy!
