As you are all aware we are facing a huge pandemic, as a nation this is the worst public health crisis for quite some time.
We at SaveCo Bradford & The Meat Company Bradford have been closely monitoring the coronavirus (covid-19) situation as it unfolds, as the national and global position continues to change rapidly day by day.
Like many companies, we are facing many unprecedented challenges, such as interruptions in our supply line, shortage of stocks, etc.
We would like to stress that we will do our utmost to maintain some sort of normality in our day to day trading Inshallah, with the help of our key suppliers. We will try to maintain stock levels and ensure your needs and requirements are met to the best of our ability.
We would also like to point out in light of recent developments where possible we will not be raising our prices to take advantage of this unprecedented situation, as not only is this unethical but it goes against all our founding principles as a business.
In the event that prices have been raised drastically by our supply chain and where we so no viable alternative, you may see an increase in price on some products but we will try to keep this at a minimum and only where absolutely necessary.
Whilst we have not implemented any measures to ration items we would encourage customers to shop responsibly and consider the needs of the elderly and vulnerable in our community.
We will be closely monitoring advice from the government and health organisations and will release another press statement in due course if anything changes. In the meantime it's business as normal. May Allah SWT protect us all. Ameen.
