What’s the festive season without a festive drink to go along with all of the delicious food that is the most important element of holiday preps?
While most of the people celebrating Christmas will do so with actual drinks, we non-alcoholic drinkers always find ways to make our regular fruit punches a bit festive.
Growing up, our holiday dinners were simple and heartwarming. One star protein, a couple of sides, and yeah, you guessed it—potatoes, always potatoes. But the real MVP? Our fruity, spicy, joy-in-a-cup fruit punch.
With a bit of some sparkling lemonade - bonus points if it's a pink lemonade, bonus bonus points if you add a tiny bit of edible glitter - you can take this fruit punch to a whole new level.
And I am not alone when I say I have some fond memories of family time around the holidays revolving around this fruit punch, I have another story from a team member that shares the emotion:
“Growing up, when the adults would sip their adult drinks at dinner time, in their fancy shmancy glasses, we would also get to have our holiday fruit punch served in nice glasses. And I remember we would act as if we were having serious conversations and casually hold the drink in our hands just like in the movies. It would always end in rolling laughter but boy was it the time. It was the most fun time ever! I miss being little!”
I think we all have at some point in our childhood pretended to be big people and acted like them! Heehee!
So, here’s the scoop—our simple, no-fuss fruit punch recipe. It's all about keeping the tradition alive, with a splash of nostalgia, a sprinkle of love, and a whole lot of holiday goodness.
