3- Strawberries And Cream Delight Using Dream Topping
How can I skip my favourite fruit when talking about desserts, yes that's right – strawberries.
But there’s just one problem that I face whenever making a strawberry dessert, I often end up eating way too many strawberries that I have to go and grab another packet of fresh strawberries.
Well here I am sharing another one of my easy and fuss-free recipes that can be made in a jiffy and you need not spend hours in the kitchen.
Ingredients:
Just five simple ingredients and you will have the best dessert at your disposal, but make sure to use the Bird’s Dream Topping cream to give it that magical twist.
- Fresh strawberries - 200gm
- Whipping cream - 250gm
- Sugar - 2 tbsp
- Icing sugar - 3 tbsp
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Directions:
- Wash the strawberries and cut them into quarters
- Add them to a small bowl, sprinkle granulated sugar and let it rest for half an hour. This process softens the strawberries and they become juicier.
- Separately in a large bowl, add whipping cream, icing sugar and vanilla extract and whip till soft peaks are formed.
- Now, add the softened strawberries along with their juices into the cream mixture, and fold with a spatula.
- Let it sit in the refrigerator for nearly an hour
- Now, line the base of a glass jar with fresh strawberries then add the chilled strawberry and cream mixture followed by a dollop of whipped cream.
- Garnish on top with fresh strawberries and serve chilled.
Pro-tip:
Do not beat the whipping cream till stiff peaks as when you add the strawberries the cream might split.
Somedays, I layer the dessert with Oreos. Strawberries and Oreos make the most heavenly combination. Don’t knock it till you have tried it! 😛
I know talking about desserts without actually presenting a dessert in front of you is almost criminal, but I can guarantee that you can make these desserts tonight or tomorrow even if you have no guests coming over *”wink”*
P.S: Desserts are life. And “I am too full for dessert!” Said No One Ever!
